What has happened to an ounce of gold in 2023? The start of the pandemic lockdowns from March 20 pushed up the price as the fear and reality of inflation set in. At the start of the year, the post covid upward trend seemed to have peaked around February when it hit 1660. The second half of this year has seen some downward movement which seems to have stopped and go slightly the other way in November .
