'This House Fears the Return of Trump's America'

Ayes 182 Nays 55

Isabelle Horrocks-Taylor of Balliol college opened support for the motion by stating that Trump's 2016 presidency was a 'multiple of firsts' with his suspension from Twitter and Two Time impeachment. Why should he be re-elected when he is rembered as mishandling the Black Lives Matter Protests and for his outrageous Jan 6 inserection? Oliver Jones-Lyons of Christ Church arugued for Trump on account of the fact America changed following the start of his Presidency in 2016. He gave a stronger 'no to the terrorists' than O Bama and has a strong inalienable fan base rooted with the 'silent US minority of white without college degrees voters' who before Trump were largely politically apathetic. White house correspondent, April Ryan seconded for the motion. How can you support a President who uses the word 'vermin' like Hitler? He lacked self control and had failed to control immigration like he claimed with his 'no passports policy' and when you looked at what has really happened at the Mexican border. The most reactionary speech came from Sebastian Gorka who had served as a Deputy Assistant during the first Trump Presidency. He argued that Trump was a 'champion of Western cvilisation' like Reagan and Thatcher who had managed to move the US embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem whereas everyone before had failed. His boastful rhetoric led to much heckling and cries from a full debating chamber with a group of female freshers interupting and questioning everything Gorka said and arguing that if Triump was re-elected he would trigger world war three.

The motion was easily carried with the Emergency Motion' this house would impliment an Age Cap for Elected officials' being rejected.
