Fears the Putin could blow up the Ukraine, Russian controlled nuclear plant at Zaporizhzhia like he did the Kakhovka dam are becoming a growing anxiety. If he did the unthinkable, it would more than likely send a cloud of deadly nuclear radiation into the atmosphere similar to a dirty nuclear bomb. Many fear that such an event would be worse than the Chernobyl disaster of 26 April 1986.
In reality, no-one knows what the extent of the consequences would be until it actually happened. However, the threat appears to be real as explosives have been sighted on the roof tops of the nuclear plant by NATO intelligence services and also confirmed by pictures recently published in Reuters. Some fear, Putin may detonate these explosives should his forces be forces to withdraw from the plant and its surrounding area (s).
Another growing threat is that Belarus could launch Russian tactical nuclear weapons South into Ukraine to help Putin win there. Belarus could also launch Russian based tactical nuclear weapons now placed in Belarus, North at neighbouring states such as, Lithuania, Lativa and Poland, should NATO forces be placed there and/or some/all these countries be provoked to invade Belarus should the war escalate.
Balarus president, Lukashenko, continues to invite Reuters press to a southern Belarus military site arguing this will be the home of the unkown whereabouts of Wagner forces and its leader, Prigozhin. The Belarus leader argued it is ok for the US and NATO countries to provide military weapons to Ukraine but not OK for Belarus to do the same to help Russia
