Following Liam Manning's move to Bristol, Oxford born and supporter, 38 year old Des Buckingham had been appointed the new Oxford Utd manager. He joined the club at 18 taking on the role of youth manager and now progressing to head coach for the first team. Buckingham started his journey with a disappointing 2-0 away defeat to Cheltenham.
