Real Bedford had a real chance of making it to National league football for next season playing Spalding away in thier Bank Holiday Monday play off final.
With a high 2700 attendance to watch this exciting final, Spalding scored first in the 37th min. Ben Stevens equalised for Real Bedford in the 56 min.
Real Bedford looked home and dry when they made it 2-1 in the 83rd min. However, Spalding kept fighting and showed why they have kept above Real in the league for most of the 25/26 season. In the 92nd min, Spalding were awarded a penalty and equalised forcing another half an hour of exrtra time. Soon after, Spalding were 3-2 up and in the 118th min, finsihed off a shocked and disheartened Real Bedofrd side to win the match and gain promotion.
MK were second in their league for most of the 25/26 season and failed to to get the top auitomatic promotion spot to Bromley, It was more or less the same trend/outcome with Spalding and thier battle with real Bedofrd.
