Oxford drop to 5th from bottom following pre Christmas defeat to QPR

Oxford’s new season in the Championship took a step backwards yesterday when they lost 2-0 away to QPR in a midweek pre Christmas clash. They are now 5th from bottom and this season appears now to be more about championship survival rather than any possible distant promotion into the Premiership.
