US now have two aircraft carriers close to Iran

In WW1 there was the Triple Alliance between Germany, Austria-Hungary and Italy against the Triple Entente of Britain, France and Russia. Today, there is Iran, Russia and China versus

the US, Britain and the EU.

The US have now moved two of its largest aircraft carriers closer to Iran in order to try and persuade the country to de-escalate its nuclear weapon/missile program. With the threat of war looming between the two, one is now left wondering what will be the trigger event to start off a war between the US and Iran like the war between Austria-Hungary and Russia in 1914?

With Iran threatening a localised retaliatory strike if the US pursue a war with them. Where will Iran strike? Most likely is the two mile Strait of Hormuz which control twenty per cent of the world's supply of oil. In addition and more alarmingly, is it possible that Iran have a secret nuclear bomb/ missile system we know nothing about? Was Trump as successful at knocking out Iran's Nuclear bomb making capability as claimed to be in 2025? If Iran did make a localised realiatory missile strike in response; surely its top of the list neighboring target nation would be 'Israel'?

Will a war between the US and Iran start with a trigger event like the war between Austria-Hungary and Russia did following the assassination of Archduke Franz Ferdinand d in 1914?

If so, is this it or will it be something else?

The next question is the 'when' one. When will a war between the US and Iran be most likely to start? Most political scientists and journalists are stating that a war between Iran and the US is inevitable, no later to start than in the late summer, before the October Israeli General Election and the mid term elections in the US. Would a missile show down in the middle east ( far greater than the ones we have so far seen ) spark off Iran's ally, Russia into doing more beyond Putin's Eastern Front in the Ukraine?

Similar to the outbreak of the First World War, would a similar chain of events occur like with Britain, France and Russia uniting against Germany following the assassination of Franz Ferdinand?

In the case of a possible outbreak of world war three, China would then come to the defence of Russia and Iran by carrying out their threat of one day bringing Taiwan under their wing. With tensions rising over the two presence of the two US aircraft carriers ; let's hope the possible doomsday scenario never happens and a peaceful solution is found before 2026 is up.
