A recent three nil away loss at AFC Wimbledon led to the departure of Mike Williamson and temporary management of Dean Lewington who managed to get a 1-1 draw under his stewardship .
Change seems to be underway under new Kuwait owners as a new manager has been quickly appointed. Scott Lyndsey comes from Crawley Town who he managed to get promoted in the play offs last season. Can he do for the Dons what he did at Crawley and get them out of league two to one? Under Lyndsey’s management, Crawley are below mid table as to be expected for a newly promoted club from league two to one. The new Kuwait owners will be looking for more dynamism from him now he is at the MK Dons.

More change appears to be underway as the MK stadium now refers to the club as being MK City FC Ltd rather than the Dons. A potential name change does not necessarily change a team . All that could happen is the club stay struggling where they are despite an ownership and management change. In reality what actually gets delivered could be old wine in new bottles.
If the club really want to start attracting more fans which is now a significant problem as well as their performance on the pitch, then maybe the new owners should reduce ticket admission prices? A move which seems unlikely in today's present economic climate and for a nicknamed franchise club where profit seems to be more the priority than community.
Today the Dons or MK City drew 1-1 to Bromley away. Only time and results will show if positive change is under- way for the club under its new manager and foreign ownership.
